Leslie has been active in politics for the past 15 years. She was a Republican County Committeewoman in Bergen County, NJ, an elected position on the November ballot. She became Vice Chair of the Englewood City Republican Committee. In 2014, she managed the campaign of a Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District. Since moving to Virginia in 2016, Leslie has been active in Chesterfield County Republican politics. She has been the Bermuda Magisterial District Chair since 2018, developing a dedicated pool of volunteers and organizing the district’s election activities. In the past election, she worked on Jim Ingle’s campaign team. Leslie has pursued a dual career as a musician and instructional designer. She founded, and was executive director of, the Metropolitan Lyric Theatre, an opera company in Northern NJ. As a freelance instructional designer and training writer, Leslie works with a variety of Fortune 500 companies to design and develop sales, management, and customer service training. She lives in Chester with her husband, Philip Jones, and their 2 dogs.
