Our Platform and Guiding Principles 1. Our Overarching Goal We want to reunify all Republicans, revitalize the Chesterfield County Republican Committee (CCRC), and reorganize party operations in the single-minded pursuit of one goal: REPUBLICAN VICTORY! The candidates on our slate are grassroots patriots, with years of political experience, who are passionate about uniting Chesterfield Republicans and harnessing talent to start taking the action needed to save our state and our country from the radical Democrats. We will work seamlessly together, and everything we do will be in support of Republican candidates in the critical elections of 2024 and 2025. 2. We will listen to and involve all Republicans to reunify and revitalize the party. We have a plan to re-vitalize the CCRC, but we can’t do it alone. We want to tap the talent that exists among Chesterfield Republicans. We know there are good, innovative ideas out there among both CCRC members and the vast majority of Republicans who don’t currently belong to the CCRC. The door is open for ideas and energy from everyone who supports Republican ideals and wants Republican victory. 3. We will grow the CCRC. The current membership of the CCRC represents only a small fraction of the Republicans who reside in Chesterfield County. Most Republicans in the county are unaware of the CCRC, when it meets, or what it does in Chesterfield County. We want to change that and encourage more like- minded Republicans to join us in revitalizing the Republican Party in Chesterfield and ensuring victory for our candidates. How will we do that? 4. We will communicate with you. Openness and communication will be the style of our leadership. If you are already a CCRC member, you’ll know well in advance when meetings will be and what our agenda is. We will solicit your ideas by creating committees to handle specific tasks that will contribute to Republican victory, like fund-raising, election operations, and messaging. If you are not currently a CCRC member, we will reach out to you regularly to inform you of party activities and solicit your ideas and support. The task ahead of us is huge, and we need the help of as many Republicans as possible. We’ll communicate with organizations who share our principles, small businesses who are being crushed by the Democrats, and like-minded individuals who would support us, if they only knew how. We will get the message out to everyone who wants to support Republican victory, whether or not you are a CCRC member. 5. We will organize for victory. The Democrats are well ahead of us in this area, and we need to play catch-up---FAST. We will use data and 21st Century methods to target likely Republican voters to register them and to increase voter turnout. This requires a lot of manpower, hence the need to grow the party and involve more Republicans in our operations. It also requires a lot of money, and, working with the Vice Chair for Finance, we will develop a plan to raise more funds to fuel our operations. ____________________________________________________________ ____________________ These are some of our ideas, and we’ll publish more as the election nears.
