Reunify The Red
Curt spent 23 years in the Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he was a White House Advance Officer who planned and directed Presidential helicopter missions worldwide. Curt was the sole representative of Marine One in coordinating with the U.S. Secret Service, White House Communications Agency, Air Force One, Cabinet Secretaries, numerous foreign dignitaries, airport and host country law enforcement, and senior aviation representatives. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Curt worked as a Program Manager and Director for the Department of Homeland Security. As Program Manager, he designed, built and activated the first-ever Transportation Security Operations Center (TSOC) as well as the Federal Air Marshals’ Mission Operations Center (MOC). After leaving the DHS, Curt held high-level positions in operations management and security at Raytheon, Northrup Grumman, and Frontier Technologies, among others. He founded a strategy, program management, and security consulting company, Javelin Technologies, and still holds an active Top Security Clearance. Leaving Northern Virginia, Curt and his wife, Sandy, returned to Chesterfield, where Sandy grew up. Curt is the Chief Operating Officer of a Richmond law firm. He is active in the local community as a board member in the Woodland Pond Homeowners association and the Military Officers Association of America, Richmond Chapter. He is chair of the Stewardship Committee of Chester Presbyterian Church and a Mentor Coordinator for the Chesterfield County Veterans Treatment Docket. Curt’s concern for the future of Virginia and the country has led him to put his considerable talents to work in local politics.
